Medical Alert System (PERS) APEX V

Unparalleled freedom and mobility.

With Apex V, you have access to our advanced two-way voice pendant, Echo. While regular systems require you to be close to the base unit to hear the speakers, Echo features a built-in speaker and microphone. In turn, users can speak clearly with the central monitoring station (CMS). Perfect for those hard of hearing, the pairing of Epic Alert’s Apex V and Echo gives users superior mobility.

Compact design, yet full of features.

Apex V delivers everything that Apex and Nova offer and more. Features such as voice notifications increase usability and a built-in temperature sensor gives increased protection for users. The many attributes of Apex V can be accessed by 2 buttons making it easy to use. Apex V houses powerful features wrapped in a smartly designed exterior.

Gain unmatched practicality with voice prompts.

Often systems use beeps and lights to communicate problems and statuses, but Apex V extends these features with 17 pre-recorded voice notifications. The messages clearly guide the user and provide reassurance. This reduces confusion and is a further reason why Apex V is among the best in the market.

Intuitive and completely accessible.

Apex V features the same intuitive interface as our other bases; users can call the CMS or programmed phone numbers on the call list with a simple press of a button on the base unit or on the paired pendant. Apex V allows the CMS to communicate effectively with the client using an advanced, built-in microphone and speaker. It can also be programmed to answer incoming phone calls automatically, allowing for easy, hands-free communication and reduced stress.

Smart Reporting for guaranteed operations.

Apex V can alert both the user and the monitoring station of any technical issues such as low battery on the base unit, telephone line disconnection, power failures and more. Automatic supervision reports can be made every 0 to 30 days to update the monitoring station on the status of the system. Should a power failure occur, a backup battery will keep the device running for up to 10 hours until power is restored and the device can be recharged.

Advanced fall detection capability.

Like our other base units, Apex V is compatible with one of the smallest and most accurate fall sensors in the world, Oval. Its accuracy stems from advanced sensors and multiple accelerometers that correctly detect any fall and notify the CMS. Contacting help automatically gives users peace of mind in the case of a fall.

With such a wide range of accessories, Apex V offers a comprehensive PERS solution to any client.

More than meets the eye.

Apex V can act as a telephone facilitator, answering incoming phone calls with the press of a button and dialing a single non-emergency phone number. It can also be programmed to answer phone calls automatically. Up to 4 different phone numbers can be stored in priority order; when the device is activated it will cycle through the numbers until the other line picks up.
